I need your input! We are about to launch a Summer Series of dialogues with District 2 neighbors about issues affecting District 2 and all Oceanside. These dialogues will provide opportunity for us to connect, neighbor to neighbor, and learn along side community experts and each other.

I have some policy plans in mind and I want to hear what is on your mind, These sessions will be an opportunity to work together to generate some creative ideas we can take to city hall. My vision of effective leadership is being open to feedback and iterating to improve all along the way. We can't be so precious as to think that we alone have all the good ideas. But too often we have seen this be a primary template for elected officials. We hope to break that mold.

These will be online and in person to meet accessibility and scheduling needs for our community and experts we will be talking to. Please sign up to get the series announcements and contribute to the issues we take up.

We were so lucky to have had the chance to celebrate the 19th annual Pride by the Beach with the North County LGBTQ+. Everyone belongs in the story of Oceanside's future. I hope to have the chance to get the Pride flag flying next summer over city hall.

The Democratic Club of Carlsbad and Oceanside is hosting a joint fundraiser for Deputy Mayor Eric Joyce's campaign for District 1 and our campaign for D2 Saturday, June 13 at 3pm. Eric and I would be so happy to see you there. Please join us!
