COMMUNITY PRIORITY

Smart Growth & Sustainability

I support growth that honors Oceanside's natural resources, infrastructure capacity, climate realities, and community needs. Sustainability means long-term planning over short-term profit. The city we build today will be the legacy we leave to future generations.

01

Walkable & bikeable streets

Neighborhoods where kids, seniors, and commuters can get around safely without a car for every trip.

02

Efficient transit corridors

Concentrate growth where transit already runs, instead of sprawl that strains our roads and coastline.

03

Climate-resilient infrastructure

Green design and resilient systems so Oceanside is ready for fire, flood, drought, and rising seas.

04

Development that answers to residents

An independent voice on council — accountable to neighbors, not to big-money developers.

Decisions Coming to City Hall

  • Developer accountability: Lennar Homes, the developer responsible for North River Farms, is a year behind on the widening the College Blvd bridge as promised; no more approvals without enforcement.
  • Morro Hills and open space: Revive the Morro Hills Community Plan and protect the farmland and wild spaces that make D2 unique.
  • Pier and coast: Rebuild the pier right and on schedule, and shape RE:BEACH with real community input.
